The nearby Baydon village lies on the ancient Roman road of Ermin street
between Newbury in Berkshire and Swinden Wiltshire. Baydon is the second
highest village in Wiltshire. The famous Market town of Marlborough is nine
miles to the south.

At roundabout take third exit on to the A338.
Take next left onto the B4000 and travel along ermine street (old Roman road)

As you come into Baydon there are a number of houses on your left and travel
on until you see a school on your right and turn next right at the memorial.
