**Why the owner loves the property: **
We bought this property from my late Grandad, who bought this property
sometime around 1985. He was a builder and a keen steam engine enthustast,
which is one of the many reasons why my grandparents decided to settle in
Swindon. He also enjoyed watching the live football games at the Swindon down
football club (The County Ground), which is located a short from the Magic
Roundabout. What we love about this property is the family memories, location
and selection amenities and schools. We have a primary and secondary school
less than 5 minute walk in either direction. Plenty of local transport
options, history and also close to the cotswolds and other areas of natural
beauty. There are local golf clubs and water sports within 15 minutes
drive. Being a bungalow, the rear garden is nice and private, and the property
footprint allows you to park multiple vehicles safely off the road. The sun
warms the front of the property in the evenings, and being surrounded by other
bungalows, you don't feel overcrowded, and can often witness colourful night
skies from the comfort of the lounge. We'll miss a lot of things about this
property, such as; being close to the train station (approx 1 hour train
journey to London, 25 minute journey to Bristol), take away delivery options
(which is probably a good thing!), less than 15 minutes drive to the designer
outlet centre and steam museum. The reason we're moving, is were having a
family of our own, and want to move closer to family.
