An idyllic two double bedroom semi - detached corner plot, in the heart of
Walthamstow Village. From the picket fence to the south - west - facing garden,
twin receptions to the garden studio, this is a charming abode in our most
deservedly coveted neighbourhood.
With the old high street of Orford Road just a few steps away from your leafy
residential street, The Village is brimming with high end stores, watering
holes and restaurants - a sublime spot for whiling away Sunday afternoons.
Start off in neon wonderland God's Own Junkyard before sipping cocktails in
the sumptuous surroundings of Eat17.
If you lived here. . .
You'll love stepping past Walthamstow Village Square in the morning to snaffle
a bacon sandwich washed down with coffee at The Village Bakery just around the
corner. Or if you've something healthier in mind head to Peeld Poke & Acai one
door up - clean eating doesn't get much better than this. Then you're ready
for your commute - Walthamstow Central station's just a ten minute stroll from
your front door and will shuttle you directly to Oxford Circus or Liverpool
Street in just twenty minutes.
Inside, and the porch will be your first port of call. With lots of space for
bags and coats, plus handy bespoke storage also serving as a gorgeous window
seat, it's a fine introduction indeed. To your left is the lounge, an
immaculate 120 square foot space complete with lovely leafy views, built - in
storage, and a vintage fireplace. Next door and your 110 square foot dining
room's just as impressive with another inviting hearth and more of those
flawless timber floorboards.
Continue through and the kitchen's decked out in an immaculate suite of cream
cabinets, a glazed metro tile backsplash, Belfast sink and beautiful views.
Step out here for your incredible fifty foot garden - a gorgeous stretch of
greenery with an al fresco dining area, home to your versatile ninety square
foot garden studio. Back inside and your bathroom's a sumptuous space with a
clawfoot tub and handy dedicated shower cubicle. Lastly, up the stairs you'll
find two generous double bedrooms of over 110 square feet, each with a vintage
fireplace.
Outside and a seven minute stroll brings you to Hoe Street. Here you can
explore eateries galore, Ye Olde Rose & Crown Theatre Pub and Soho Theatre
Walthamstow (coming soon), before taking in the babbling brooks and manicured
gardens of Lloyd Park. Or cross through Town Square Gardens for the The Mall
and Walthamstow market - it's been running since 1885 and is the longest
street market in Europe. Be sure to stop by The Chequers, a characterful pub
that's been part of Walthamstow's fabric since 1699.

A word from the owner. . .
"We have absolutely loved living here. Eden Grove is such a hidden treasure -
the village is literally on your doorstep, the great Castle pub is just round
the corner, you can walk to the station in 10 minutes (and be in Liverpool St
in just under 20 minutes) and yet Eden Grove is so green, quiet and peaceful -
it’s a truly wonderful place to live! The house has so many beautiful original
features and we have a lovely garden with the most spectacular camellia tree
which blossoms every spring. We feel so lucky to have lived here for the best
part of eight years and hope that whoever lives here after us will enjoy it as
much as we have!"
