Taking junction 36 of the M6 (northbound) take the filter lane to the left,

turning on the left onto the A5284, following the signs for "Crook &
Hawkshead" in the direction of Windermere.
After around 1. 6 miles/3 mins, you will go down a slight hill, and on the left
you will see the entrance for Pound Farm. Please park in the parking area
immediately to the left. You will then need to go to the main
entrance/reception, and ask for Billy, who will then show you around.
