Situated moments from Victoria Park, this beautiful one - bedroom, ground floor
garden flat has been lovingly restored, resulting in a striking space that
balances traditional features and contemporary updates in equal measure. As
well as the immaculate finish, highlights include the garden and open plan
living area.
As for the location, this dynamic neighbourhood has a real sense of community
- and thoughtful regeneration means you find interesting coffee shops and
eateries nestled comfortably alongside the much - loved traditional pubs and
market stalls.
Mile End station is 14 minutes on foot, where you’ve got access to the
Hammersmith & City line or District line, so getting into central London is a
breeze too.
If you lived here. . .
Thanks to the beautiful interior design you’ll be able to make yourself
comfortable from the day that you move in.
Awash with natural light, your open plan kitchen/living room will form the
heart of your home, with the serene colour palette, striped wood flooring and
breakfast bar all notable highlights. The bedroom is just as immaculate, as is
the bathroom, which has glossy metro brick tiles and vintage - style fittings.
At the rear you’ll find your private garden, which will be a brilliant bonus
throughout the year, but especially during warmer months.
If you want more greenery, you’ll be delighted to find Victoria Park just a
few moments away, which offers everything from landscaped gardens to cafes,
not to mention a brilliant event calendar, with the All Points East festival
series being a highlight (imagine being able to walk home after seeing an
internationally renowned headline act). Bow and Mile End are both excellent
neighbourhoods for accessing attractions across the entire capital, and you
can even spend a pleasant weekend strolling the two miles to Shoreditch,
passing some landmarks on the way, such as the Columbia Road Flower Market and
Brick Lane. In the other direction, Hackney Wick and the Olympic Park are well
worth a visit, too.
Closer to home, the Lord Tredegar, The Lord Morpeth and the Royal Inn on the
Park are three great pubs within a short minute stroll, the latter taking you
through Victoria Park. As for food, you’ve got some brilliant options, such as
Cafe East, an excellent brunch spot, which regularly attracts crowds from
across the capital. It’s just two minutes away.
You’ve probably heard of the legendary Roman Road Market, which is within a
few minutes of your home - and a great place to pick up essentials or just go
for a spot of browsing and people watching.
What else?
\ - As well as having Victoria Park so close, it’s also only a short walk to
the 79 acre space of Mile End Park, which was masterfully transformed from
industrial wasteland to a sprawling, green oasis. In the other direction,
you’ve got the Olympic Park. Who’d have thought such an urban hub would be
flanked by so much greenery?
\ - Be sure to check out the Chisenhale Gallery, which is situated in a former
veneer factory and exhibits shows, screenings and talks by emerging
contemporary artists - it’s a four minute walk from your home.
\ - Drivers can be on the North Circular in about 10 - 15 minutes. You’re also
less than 10 minutes from the Blackwell Tunnel for easy access to South
London.

A word from the owner. . .
"We couldn't believe how close this flat was to, in our view - London's most
beautiful green space, Victoria Park. In August vp hosts "All Points East
Music Festival, " which through the Tower Hamlets lottery we got free tickets
to this year. Even if you don't though, you can hear amazing acts - like Nick
Cave and Erykha Badhu - from the comfort of your private garden where we've
planted fragrant David Austin roses. The garden is a real asset as we have two
cats, and unlike other flats we had seen leads out from the open plan kitchen
into a row of gardens so we don't have to worry about them. We've hosted many
happy parties in the space, and love to cook for our friends and enjoy good
relationships with our neighbours, on a friendly, quiet one way street.
Cycling is our preferred mode of transport, but Mile End and Bethnal Green
tubes are easy to get to, and you're serviced 24/7 by the amazing number 8 bus
into and back from the centre of town. Culturally we're spoilt for choice,
Chisenhale and Whitechapel gallery are super close, and the New V and A
building reopened in June. The Yard Theatre, community run Castle Cinema and
Stratford East are within easy reach. For the best baguette, we love The
Breadery on Roman Road, and Jungle Electric for the nicest coffee. If you're
foodies like us Polentina, The Waterhouse Project, and in Victoria Village My
Neighbours The Dumplings are all an easy walk away and if you follow the canal
in the other direction, you'll arrive at Broadway Market, home of Climpson's
Coffee, Pavillion and London Fields, where I swim in the lido daily. We
married at The Hackney on Hackney Road, and have absolutely adored our time on
Driffield Road. "
